Its super good! Very good service.
Their burritos are the best I've ever had
Great food 👠owned by a nice little family the chief was gone and they still cooked and it was still bomb if your in that area eat there and get the vegartarian burrito with bean and rice on the side #very nice service
Good food good rat's friendly people
Awesome mexican food. But they serve Italian too? Never tried it but seems odd.
Tastiest green sauce chicken enchiladas, prepared gluten and dairy free to accommodate allergies. So packed with flavor. 100% will visit again. Everyone else's dishes looked amazing as well!
The employees are friendly. The staff are wonderful. They serve generous amounts of delicious food. The best Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten in
Family run, great food, cheap beer, what else could you ask for? This is a hidden gem in Altaville, just North of Angels Camp. I had the molé special and it was great - rich and not overly sweet. My wife had a burrito, which was excellent.
Great food awesome staff
I enjoy this for a sit down Mexican meal it's almost as good as a taco truck
Amazing service, every thing is homemade. Real mexican definitely coming back!!
This restaurant is my number one restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. everytime I feel like having a good dinner, this restaurant comes immediately to my head. fresh and all sorts of food and a large list of dishes.great crew, and pleasant mood. In addition to that, the pay is good. I recommend this spot with pleasure.
Great little new place that was recommended by the locals. The regular wet burrito was almost a foot long and stuffed! The chimichanga was great with pastor! Didn't care for red sauce. Salsa was delicious!
THE BEST! "Family run" establishment with great food and wonderul, friendly service. Very affordable.
The food is good and the service is fast. We have eaten here several times and would recommend.
Very friendly, nice atmosphere. Waited a little on food one plate was wrong. But overall it was ok.
Food really good! Would go again!!!
Despite being a caucasian male in 2019, I consider myself quite well-versed in Mexican cuisine. Having grown up in central valley California, I've been exposed to many authentic meals prepared by those of Hispanic descent. That said, I walked away thoroughly impressed with the meal prepared for me in Angel's Camp, Ca, a place I thought I would be hard pressed to find such a delicious and true-to-its-culture meal. The fish tacos were my menu item of choice, and everything from the baja sauce, to the fresh cilantro and cabbage, to the perfectly fried fish rang true to what I would expect from a chef who has mastered the art of Mexican cuisine. The waitress was kind, and attended to our every need with a grace you'd expect from an Olympian handmaiden. Please, give this establishment a chance when next passing through Calaveras county, I can assure that you will not be disappointed.
Very good Mexican cuisine. It's been awhile since I've been here and I almost forgot how good it really is. Hands down it's the best Mexican food I've had since my days of working in the Bay Area, and even then it would not take second fiddle to the food at my favorite place there. My only regret is it is not serving breakfast.Just for the record I don't think I've ever gave a 5 🌟 to any place, I've truly enjoyed every dish here. Again, the food is GREAT.
Our new favorite place. We stopped here spontaneously so happy we did! The food was amazing and the cute restaurant was just spotlessly clean. My son had a burrito as big as a football he declared "The best burrito ever!" The salsa was pretty much perfect. Our waitstaff was very friendly.
Family friendly place, with great food.
It is Cinco de Mayo best Mexican restaurant in our area
Very good Mexican food, clean fast service.
My sons ask to come here for the mega burritos made extra hot. They love them!
Delicious food and great service! Yum! If you are going to be in town, this is the Mexican restaurant you want to visit.
The food is great , service was also very good. 😋
Food was good. I had super wet burrito with green sauce, my dad had wet burrito with green sauce. The only difference was mine has a small dab of guacamole on the side and cost 2 or 3 dollars more. Service was good although we asked for refill of chips and didn't get it until after our food came, they were busy. My husband and son enjoyed their food as well. Only one bathroom.
Went for dinner after 7pm. They seem to only care about their phone orders, as those of us eating in waited over an hour to get a burrito wrapped in foil probably prepared hours earlier. No hot sauce, etc., and no one came to see if our food was ok. The adjoining table had at least 2 orders wrong but after waiting so long just ate it.
This place is worth a try. They serve big portions for affordable prices. Constantly well kept and with excellent ambience. Would recommend to others.
Food is fresh as nd all made to order. No frozen food here. Delicious.
Very unfriendly, customer service was just about the worst I’ve ever experienced. My husband and I felt we were “bothering†the waitress when we asked for refills on drinks and chips/salsa. We each ordered different plates, but both with shredded beef. It was so salty we couldn’t eat it. Didn’t mention it to her because we were afraid of what she’d serve us if we said anything. Will not be back. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.
The food is excellent, but the service is very poor. Not enough staff. Looks like 2 people working. Went to dinner on 7/1 and the place was packed by 8pm. Dinner took 2hrs. However, the food was very good with lots of flavor. Might give it another shot. See if service improves. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
We stopped here on our way to Yosemite national park, and we are so glad we did. The food was amazing!! The price was right and the chips and salsa were to die for. If you are In the area stop by for some home cooked Mexican food.
A must-stop on your way to or from Angels Camp. Outstanding food (had a Burrito Bowl, the beef was incredible), and even better attention.
